Food Menu

Here at Cobbles and Clay we believe in serving good tasty homemade food, with our ingredients sourced locally, supporting the organic, fairtrade alliances.

We have a new Breakfast menu offering free range scrambled egg with smoked salmon and other tasty healthy options, please ask us for bacon though as we have it now and again.

Our Soups and Stews are freshly made daily.  All soups are vegetarian, made with gluten free, dairy free stocks served with wholemeal bread and butter.  We also make Tuscan Bean Stew and our famous Cobblety Pie which is a real treat, perfect for cold rainy days or light enough for Summer.  As a meat option we make a tasty  chilli con carne, using mince that is locally reared and Organic from Ellisons butchers in Cullingworth.

Daily Specials inlcude homemade pates and several hummus options.  All ingredients are organic and are served up with toast/wholemeal pittas, and a selection of salads, homemade coleslaw  and kalamata olives.  Sandwiches and bagels can be either eaten in or taken away if you are going on a walk or need to eat on the run. Also you can grab an amazing cup of fairtrade coffee, tea or hot choc to take out.

Cakes and treats are always on offer here at Cobbles and Clay, we have gluten free and dairy free options in all the time so please ask.  Our amazing chocolate brownies have been adapted to be gluten free and our orange and almond made by the boss is also gluten free.  A selection of locally sourced and homemade are always available but you will have to come in and see our daily special board as to what is on offer.  We always have our scrummy large fruit scones, our life changing sticky apple, our locally sourced lemon drizzle and carrot cake made by Jill.

All our coffees are made with fair trade 5 Arabica bean coffee and can be served decaffeinated and or with soya milk.  We have a large range of fair trade teas and high quality artisan teas. 

We have a good range of cold drinks including the traditional Fentimens range served in the old fashioned bottles and tasting how they used to.  Our fresh fruit smoothies are very tasty and are endorsed by the Soil Association and if you don't fancy one of those our milkshakes which come in a variety of flavours are made with real dairy ice-cream and fresh fruit puree, all can be made with soya ice-cream and soya milk. 

We are licenced!  Serving locally brewed ales and Organic pear and apple cider plus we have a good couple of options for red, rose and white wine.  Which are all organic and vegan with them all being selected for sumptious flavours and fruity styles. Cheers!
