Snake Davis gigs
Our founder Jill has been a huge fan of famous saxophonist Snake Davis, who has played with/for some of the world’s biggest acts, for many years. She was delighted when he agreed to play at Cobbles & Clay in Haworth with his band The Burden of Paradise and they have now performed more than 10 intimate gigs at the cafe with many more planned for the future. The events are bookable in advance and are always a sell out and feedback from customers is that the music and atmosphere are second to none! Stay tuned for the next performance!
Open Mic Nights
One of our favourite events to host is our Open Mic night. A fantastic opportunity to take centre stage in our café and perform, whether it’s singing, dancing, poetry reading or a musical instrument … anything goes! Always such an exhilarating evening, it’s great to welcome new faces along with the old familiar ones. Stay tuned for our next event!
£22 a head including an Italian buffet supper and performance by Ten Strings Duo.
We’re so lucky to be welcoming violinist Marianatalia Ruscica and guitarist Davide Sciacca to our café for a Ten Strings Duo performance on Friday 29th July at 7pm. Their work together has led to an extended repertoire of classical works from the early 19th Century as well as more contemporary pieces which they will be performing in the café on the night. Having participated in classical music seasons organised by prestigious music organisations in theatres, concert halls, and heritage sites and buildings, we’re incredibly excited to welcome them to the ‘stage’ in Cobbles and Clay!
