We are delighted to be hosting the next Women@Work Aire Valley networking event on the evening of 10 September 2015. Launched in 2012, the quarterly networking events are organised by the lovely Nat West Bank relationship manager Liz Smith and AWB Charlesworth solicitor Julie Evans and are always popular with local women. Attracting attendees from all around Skipton and surrounding areas, the events offer the perfect opportunity for women to come together and share ideas, tips and hopefully business!

As many of you will know, since moving to our new larger premises, we have started to hold more and more evening events from gin tastings to live gigs so we’re really pleased the organisers of Women@Work chose us for their tenth event. Past venues have included Yorkshire Dales Ice Cream Parlour in Skipton and Martinez Wines in Ilkley. They are hoping to attract familiar faces who’ve been to Women@Work events before as well as new people from the local area so please do come along if you’re a woman in any line of business. We’re told it’s a really friendly and informal group and anyone is welcome to come along and try it as a one off – but please make sure you book in advance for catering purposes (details below).

The evening will include a wide selection of our homemade finger foods, including dairy and gluten free options. After everyone has had a chance to grab a bite to eat, our founder Jill has been asked to stand up and share a few words on her inspirational journey from setting up Cobbles & Clay to growing it into the successful and popular café and pottery painting studio it is today.

The event, which is bookable in advance at £12 to cover food (drinks not included), will open for registration at 6pm and finish at 8pm. If you would like to attend, please contact Mel on: melanie.crewe@awbclaw.co.uk or 01756 793 333.

We look forward to seeing you in September!
