Pottery Painting + Making at Home

How It Works
1. Order
Choose whether you would like to paint a pot. Add your selection to your cart then complete checkout. Orders will be ready to collect the following day after purchase.
2. Collect Your Kit
Your kit will be available for collection in-store during our opening hours; Monday - Friday 8.45 - 4:00pm. Saturday + Sunday 8.45 - 5:00pm.
3. Paint / Make
Your kit will come with instructions but please feel free to contact us through our social media or email us info@cobblesandclay.co.uk if you have any questions.
4. Drop Off Your Masterpiece
If you have chosen one of our paining kits we then need to fire it in our kiln so please drop it off during our opening hours and we will begin the glazing and firing process to make your pot glossy and shiny! Please make sure all equipment is returned so we can reduce waste and reuse our tools.
Please also ensure your name or initials is painted on all pieces of pottery in black or dark paint.
5. Firing
Once your painting kit has been dropped off we will glaze and fire it in our kiln.
6. Take Your Pottery Home
Finally, you can take your creation home with you! Your pot will be ready to collect in-store one week after drop-off.

Pick a piece of pottery that you’d love to paint from our collection on the painting kit product page. Pottery is priced individually. Included in your kit are paintbrushes and paint colours of your choice, selected during the checkout process.

You can choose up to 6 paints to borrow. Please make a note of the 6 paint numbers you’d like to use based on the image below, then select these in the order form during checkout.
Please note: there’s no need to choose white for use as a base/background colour as any unpainted pottery will be white and shiny after firing.

We’ve selected our favourite and most popular pieces for you to choose from. The price includes all the paints, brushes hire, glazing/firing + VAT.
You can choose which pot you’d like to paint on the painting kit product page below. Add as many as you like to your basket and when you’re done browsing, checkout!
Please Note:
If pottery is broken or damaged at home, we cannot accept any responsibility for this and you will not be refunded so please be careful.
Cleaning:
Before you pack up your kit, please give your tools a rinse with warm water and a quick dry. (Painting kits only)
Glazing and Firing:
Once you have returned your painted pot we will fire it in our kiln. Your pot will be ready to collect and take home with you 1 week after being returned. (Painting kits only)
